Sightseeing & Eco Tours in Homer Alaska

Gull Island

We offer a Sightseeing Eco Tour in the evenings at your request. This trip is usually 3 hours give or take, and you are the creator of the event. We explore Upper Kachemak Bay, including our famous bird rookery, Gull Island, and areas across the bay including Peterson Bay, Halibut Cove, Bear Cove, Eldridge Passage to Sadie Cove, Tutka Bay, and Seldovia Bay. There will be numerous photo opportunities. You will see many species of sea birds, sea otters, and often run into whales, seals, eagles, bears and mountain goats depending on the time of year. There are several restaurants that are boat friendly, reservations are required in advance. You are welcomed to BYOB, or dinner, we provide cups, mixers, and snacks.

The Memory Maker is offering a full day Adventure Tour, this charter is designed for those who do not want to fish, but want to spend a full day exploring our area for wildlife, and scenic touring, including the small community of Seldovia. This charter departs at 08:00 AM and returns at 4:00 PM. Please call for more information. This must be booked as a full boat charter, (no more than 6 passengers) our rate for this tour is $1200 per day.

The Memory Maker is now available for diving charters. You must have all your own gear. All dives are on the buddy system, no one dives alone. A Waver of Liability must be signed before departing. The rate on this charter is $1200 per day, please call for more information. This charter departs at 06:30 and arrives back to Homer at 4:00 PM.

We now have a Water Taxi available for use. Our 17' Boston Whaler is used to escort passengers to rental cabins, hiking trails across the bay, and tour where our larger boat cannot. Rates are $60 per person, includes round trip. We can only take 4 passengers on this vessel. Call for more information.
